All-On-4® is a permanent fixed bridge that only relies on four implants, rather than six or more. Each implant is placed into the jaw at a precise angle to maximize the structural capabilities of your bone. Therefore, the All-On-4® dental implants method can save you time, money, and discomfort. In many cases, we can install a temporary full mouth restoration the same day as your surgery. Once the implants have fully healed, we will be able to place the final restoration.

All-On-4® dental implant restorations can be made from porcelain, standard acrylic, or zirconia. No matter which material you choose, your All-On-4® restoration will look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth. No one will know you have implants unless you tell them. For instance, your new smile can be brushed and flossed, just like your natural teeth. There is also no need for adhesives or other specialized equipment. Because the implant becomes a part of your bone structure, your restoration will not press down on your gums or cause discomfort. You will be able to experience all of your favorite foods, hot and cold, with confidence and comfort.

Unlike dentures, All-On-4® will also prevent future bone deterioration. This will help you retain youthful facial features, and avoid further oral complications.

Only trained dental health professionals, like Dr. Kevin Pollock will be able to determine if you are a suitable candidate for All-On-4®. Before recommending All-On-4®, we will take x-rays of your jaw and evaluate your oral and overall health. If you have a serious condition, such as an autoimmune disease, dental implants may not be an appropriate treatment. Periodontal disease may also cause issues with treatment planning. Age is not a determining factor for dental implant candidacy.

The All-On-4® method can be used to secure a fixed denture on the upper arch, lower arch, or both. This means that most patients whom currently use dentures, or have advanced tooth loss, will qualify for All-On-4® treatment. All-On-4® does not require the same bone density as other permanent fixed bridges. Although a sufficient amount of bone is required, All-On-4® reduces the need for bone grafts. Patients with an insufficient amount of bone will still have to undergo a bone grafting procedure before implant surgery is possible.
